While I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages, my practice focuses mainly on women’s issues. These include transition into adulthood, relationships, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, parenting, self-esteem, career, menopause, divorce recovery, and aging.

My counseling experience has included treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, stress, and personality disorders. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients take control of their thoughts, feelings, and behavior. I am also experienced with trauma-focused therapy and EMDR, which has been used successfully to treat PTSD and many other conditions. For more information about EMDR, visit https://www.emdria.org/about-emdr-therapy.

For those of you who would like a Christian counseling approach, I am skilled at incorporating spirituality into treatment.
